1.2. The KVKK Privacy Notice and the Privacy Policy also apply to personal data processed through cookies.

2. What Cookies Are

2.1. Cookies are small text files that websites store in the User's browser or device. They let the site recognise the User on later visits or between pages of the same visit, keep the session going and remember preferences.

2.2. By duration, cookies are session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent cookies (kept on the device for a set period); by source, they are first-party cookies (set by the Company) or third-party cookies (set by providers the Company uses).

3. Cookies We Use

3.1. The Company uses only cookies that are essential for the Service to work and stay secure, and a small number of first-party cookies that remember the User's preferences. No analytics or advertising cookies are used at present.

4.2. Functional cookies are used to improve the user experience on the legal basis in KVKK Article 5/2-f and are kept limited so as not to harm the User's fundamental rights and freedoms.

4.3. If the Company decides to use analytics or advertising cookies in the future, they will be used only on the basis of the User's explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1), when “Accept” is chosen in the cookie banner, and this Policy will be updated beforehand.

4.4. Data obtained through the cookies used in the Service is not sold and is not shared with third parties for advertising.

5. Managing Cookies

5.1. The User can delete or block cookies, or be warned before a cookie is set, in the browser settings. Settings differ between browsers; see the browser's help pages for current instructions.

5.2. If essential cookies are blocked, it may not be possible to sign in to the application, keep the session or connect an X account.

5.3. The choice made in the cookie banner can be changed at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of wesociallab.com pages.
